Today, I will be writing a lens review for the wonderful Geocolouredlenses.com.
I was sponsored one pair of their lenses.
Geocolouredlenses.com is a company specialized in circle lenses, the GEO brand.
GEO colored lenses are, unlike other cosmetic contacts, approved as safe by Health Canada, the FDA, and the KFDA.
The service was absolutely perfect. Fast replies, great communication. It's what Geocolouredlenses.com are known for too. And of course, well organized service is half the work!
This time, I wanted to go for something a little crazier. I like things crazy, yet natural. I am always on the look for products that look natural, yet different. But this time I wanted to try something a little different. Ofcourse, halloween is coming closer, and even though we don't quite celebrate halloween in The Netherlands (I know, I know. It suckssss…), I do like to get a little bit crazy around Halloween. Just for the heck of it :-)
So I went with…
…purple!
Not something I'd usually do, yet I couldn't be more excited to receive these lenses!
These are called the Geolica Euro Celine Violet (fancy pancy!) and I fell in love with them the moment I saw them. I had one worry though, and that is wether they would work with my bright blue eyes.
If you have bright eyes, wether they are blue, brown or whatever color, you might stumble upon this problem as well. Not many lenses fully cover my eye and with a purple color like this I was a little bit worried about wether this lens would blend with my eye the way I wanted it to.
Though, I'm glad I took the risk!
I would say the shipping took about one week and +/- a couple of days, which is incredibly good!
Ofcourse, I live in Holland, which isn't the easiest country to reach by mail.
I received an email from Geocolouredlenses.com on the 28th of August, explaining my lenses were dispatched. They included a tracking number which was also really nice, that way I would know when my package arrived in Holland and what day I had to be at home to open the door for Mr mailman.
I received my package the 5th of September, and I was really surprised they came so early!
The package I received them in was nicely sealed, unharmed and all looked really well.

The lenses were nicely sealed off and overall everything looked just the way it's supposed to be!
Now onto the fun part!
With these lenses, I was trying to go for an all purple look.
Overall, I must admit, they don't cover my blue eyes as well as I hoped they would. But maybe that's just the brightness of my eyes, I've had this problem with so many lenses and I really adore the effect this lens gives to my eye.
I've worn these lenses to a family dinner by day, and no one noticed I was wearing lenses until I pointed it out! Meaning these lenses are pretty 'natural', but once I've pointed it out to them they all went crazy adoring my eyes for at least 10 minutes!
